Wisbech Badminton Club

Code of Conduct

Wisbech Badminton Club fully recognise the responsibility it has in the arranging, safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children in its care.

Whilst providing this opportunity, it is essential that a code of conduct is set out ensuring the children and Wisbech Badminton Club provide a rewarding and learning experience for all children in its care.

The club would like to inform all parents of the following procedures in order for this to take place.

It is the responsibility of the parents to:

• Deliver and collect children from the club

• Ensure all contact details are given to the club

• Ensure children are dressed in appropriate clothing to   participate in the activity

• Work in partnership with the club to promote and encourage good behaviour.

It is the responsibility of the club to:

• Provide trained coaches and helpers who are fully CRB   certificated

• Ensure good behaviour enables all to learn

• Ensure all children remain safe during the sessions.

lf behaviour becomes unacceptable the following procedures will be taken:

1. Behaviour corrected verbally

2. The child who continues to disrupt the learning will be asked to sit out from the coaching until such a time the behaviour improves or, if disruptive behaviour continues-

Parents/guardians informed at the end of session -and an agreement made between both parties for future training —or for persistent unacceptable behaviour

3. Exclusion from training and any outstanding monies returned.

Whilst we hope that such action will never need to be taken, we feel it is important for all to follow the code of conduct set down for the club.
